Dramatic climate changes create a high demand for fresh, clean water in Thailand

Tipco Foods and Watergen joined together last month to help older people in the Thai province of Chiangrai access free, clean drinking water.

Due to dramatic climate changes, resulting in higher temperatures and heavier rainfall, local infrastructure has been buckling under the demand for clean water.  Many areas of the province are flooded, compromising the quality of tap water and filtration processes.

Watergen’s GEN-M uses the humidity in the air to create up to 800 liters of fresh drinking water free of charge, without any dependence on the infrastructure, to the happy residents.
