Jerusalem, May 14, 2018: Watergen sparkled at an historic event, the long-awaited move of the American Embassy to Jerusalem. The prestigious invitation-only event took place in the presence of senior American and Israeli officials, including the PM of Israel, Binyamin Netanyahu, President Ruby Rivlin, the American Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, Deputy Secretary of State, Steven Mnuchin, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.
The ceremony and celebration were attended by scores of celebrities and influential guests.
For reasons of logistics and security, guests arrived at the Teddy Stadium and were transported to the new embassy, in the Arnona neighborhood, by bus. At Teddy, the participants were refreshed by water manufactured from air on location by Watergen’s GEN-350, and the amazement people expressed about the Israeli technology added to the buoyant excitement.
The cutting edge technology fit right in at the event, which celebrated Jerusalem as both Israel’s ancient capital and as a thriving hub of innovation in the Start-Up Nation.
Watergen is a proud example of what shared American-Israeli partnership looks like, and is honored to be associated with this profoundly meaningful occasion.
